Back To School {Sale} With TpT!

It's time for Back To School shopping!  I'm linking up  with Christina of Bunting, Books and Bainbridge for the "Best & Most" Linky!  Everyone LOVES Senior Superlatives!

Check out my
"TpT Back To School Superlatives"...

Click Here to Find The Products Above

The "Teacher's Pet" is a product that every teacher needs in the classroom.  My "Teacher's Pet" is obviously my Tracking Common Core Checklists!  These checklists will help you stay organized by tracking the standards that you address during instruction.  A checklist is also included to help track student mastery of standards.  This is a great tool for the classroom!

The "Best Couple" is two products that work well together.   My "Best Couple" focuses on kinds of sentences!  This couple is a KaBlooEy Kinds of Sentences game and Kinds of Sentences posters.  Students love the cute troll characters that are on both of the products!  Students can use the KaBlooEy game in centers.  Teachers can provide support to students, especially lower level students, by displaying the Kinds of Sentences posters at the center.  Students love yelling KaBlooEY!  The students will love to learn!

The "Most Likely To Help Your Students Succeed" award goes to my Standards for Mathematical Practice posters!  SMPs are a portion of the math common core standards that a lot of teacher sort of forget about.  These standards are very important!  SMPs describe a variety of skills that teachers should seek to develop in all of their students.  The posters can be displayed as reminders for teachers.  They can be very helpful to students because they are written as "I Can" statements.  These posters are available for primary grades which has lots of cute graphics or for intermediate students which has less graphics.
Be sure to check out all of my "TpT Superlatives" especially from Saturday, August 17th through Tuesday, August 20!  You'll be able to get extra savings on Saturday, August 18 and Sunday 19th!

Busy & Happy Kids Linky

So summer is here...how do you keep your kids busy and happy?  I'm linking up with Katie from Teacher to the Core to share my week with you!  I started writing this post last week, but it was interrupted by the 4th of July celebration...We visited my parents for a few days.   Soooo here's a recap...

I surprised my husband, Marrio, with two tickets to WWE as a Father's Day gift.  Yeah, wrestling, ladies & gents!  My husband loves wrestling!  My son,MJ, is OBSESSED!  He sleeps, eat and breathes wrestling!  My family, friends and co-workers know this, and we all joke about it!  Marrio has always wanted to go to a WWE show and most importantly, he has always wanted to take his son.  So I thought that would be the perfect gift for them to ummm...bond?  Lol!  Of course, my son was super, duper excited!  Marrio was pumped too!  While there, Marrio let MJ take pictures.  He loved holding the belts and posing!  Disclaimer:  "The Rock" and "Kofi" are not real in these pics!  But my lil' guy was ECSTATIC!!!  This made my son VERY HAPPY!

So sometimes what our kids might THINK will make them happy...does not always make them happy! The kids wanted to go to the park.  I usually take them to the park at least once a week, but the weather is either way too hot, or it's pouring rain!  On this day I told them that it was too hot, but I decided to take them anyway.  The heat in Georgia ROCKS...it keeps getter hotter and hotter..LOVE IT {insert sarcasm}!  Anyway, anything for our kids, right?  I surprised them and took them to get ice cream, and we headed to the park!

Arrival....Don't they look happy!

15 minutes later...uh, yeah!

We weren't there for 15 minutes, and they were ready to go!  They were complaining!  This lil guy began crying.  OMG!!!!  It was awful!  I told them to play because this is what they wanted to do.  My 10 year old, Marri, grabbed my keys (totally out of her character), and they started walking towards the truck.  They were leaving me!  Kids!

Swim lessons make me happy :)  They are on Tuesdays and Thursdays and are much needed! The kids are improving!  Yay!  MJ tried on one of the girls' cover ups and said, "Mama, I didn't know that these things are so warm and cozy!"

After swim lessons on Thursdays, we visit the local library.  They are enrolled in a summer reading program where they can earn prizes for reading.  We check out books and attend the children's show.  The show usually lasts about 45 minutes and ties in reading.  They love the shows because there is always magic or live animals!  Our library visit usually lasts about two hours.
In between library visits and swim lessons we play games, or I place the kids on educational sites like xtramath.org.  I'm definitely not saying that my kids don't play "fun to them" games on their Kindles, but I've always told my husband that kids today do not know how to "play".  When we were younger, we played outdoors all day.  We made up games!  Now technology has taken over!  So we always buy board games and such to let our children know that there is more to playing than spending time on their Kindle Fires.  You can find cheap card games at dollar stores.  I found them oldies at Dollar General for a buck each!  The kids love them!

MJ won his first game of Uno!  I tried to capture his excitement, but I ended up capturing a little more (Check out the girls!)  Lol!

Well, that's a week with my kiddos!  Be sure to check out how other bloggy mommies keep their kids busy and happy over at Teacher to the Core!

Currently...It's May!

It's May ya'll!  That means birds chirping, flowers sprouting...and the last day of school is approaching!  Yay!  If I were counting, I would say that we have 17 days of school left.  Then summer time!

I'm linking up with Farley over at Oh', Boy It's 4th Grade.  This is my first "Currently" post!  Here goes...

Listening...
It's 3:42 AM at home, and it's QUIET!  All that I can hear is the AC blowing!  How many of you have to get up SUPER early in order to get some things done?  I have to!  With kids bouncing balls off the top of my head, the TV blasting and a hubby who can NEVER find anything I have to get up a couple of hours before them in order to get work done or work on TpT products.  I've run into a glitch though...the older I get the harder it is for me to get up!

Loving...
I LOVE MY FAMILY!  Although it gets SUPER CRAZY around my house, I love my crew!  This year has been very hectic!  For years I've always taught summer school.  NOT THIS YEAR!  I'm taking time off to spend time with my family especially my kids.  They are growing so fast!  My oldest will be a senior next year!  Tears!

Thinking...
I think know that I need to exercise!  I purchased a treadmill back in...I don't even remember.  I know it's only been about three months and I've only been on it twice (no longer than 10 minutes each time  Ha!).  So I'm thinking that I need to get back to exercising.  {The treadmill has been helpful in hanging my clothes on it to dry!}

Wanting...
I've been wanting my summer break BADLY!  I've been going nonstop since last summer....kids after school events, work, college classes, tutoring...UGHHHHH!!!!!  I would like to take some time during the summer to create some more TpT products.  Here's the last one that I created.   It's a FREEBIE!

But honestly, I just want to sit on the couch for a change and eat Cheetos!!!  But I guess that will go against me THINKING that I need to exercise!

Needing...
I need a personal assistant!  Okay, I can't afford one, but the thought of having one would be AH-MAZING!!!  If I had one, I think that I would stare at him/her for a while because I would be in shock but after the shock wears off....IT'S ON!  He/she [no gender preference ya know] can begin by organizing my closets and then my cabinets.  Oh yeah then mounds of papers on my desk...Okay, I'm going to stop dreaming because I'm getting excited over the impossible...

Summer Bucket List...
Well, since I will not have that personal assistant, I've got to get organize.  I have file cabinets and boxes filled with papers that need to be organized into folders.  I need to clean out my file cabinets (something that I started two years ago) and get those papers organized.  I also have my TONS and I mean TONS of computer files on my school laptop and external drive that I need to organize.  Heck!  I'm going to need more than a summer to get all of this done!

So, what's up with you Currently!  Let us know by heading over to Oh' Boy, It's 4th Grade and link up!  Thanks for stopping by!

Tears...My First Award! The Liebster Award!

I first would like to thank Tara from ...and they all fall down.  I think this was her way of telling me to post on my blog.  Lol!  It HAS been a month!   Apologies to my 27 followers!  I'm pretty sure that you all understand...Life gets a little busy!  Now back to my fabulous Liebster Award...

My favorite color has evolved since I was younger.  Up until that last few years it was and has always been purple.  Now I'm leaning more towards pink and red

$5,000,000,000,000,000...sorry the only reason I stopped with the 0s was because my index finger became tired of typing the 0s.  Teachers are seriously WAY underpaid!  Oh, yeah, it's just my opinion.
